  • Secondary edge seal for the production of UV-resistant insulating glass units in combination with butyl rubber as primary seal

Characteristics

  • Compatible with PVB films according to the criteria of the ift guideline DI-02/1
  • Suitable for processing laminated safety glass
  • Non-corrosive
  • Does not cause (rust) corrosion on unprotected metal surfaces
  • Very good adhesion to many substrates even without primer
  • Often primer-free processing possible, see primer table in the technical data sheet
  • High notch and tear resistance
  • Withstands high mechanical stress
  • Very good weather, ageing and UV resistance
  • For long-lasting indoor and outdoor applications

Standards and tests

  • Tested by ift Rosenheim according to EN 1279, Part 2 on gas-filled insulating glass units with aluminum spacers and according to EN 1279, Part 4, Sections 5.1 and 5.2 by MPA Darmstadt.
  • Suitable for applications according to IVD leaflet No. 35
