application areas
- For sealing and backfilling casement frames and glazing beads on windows and doors - improving tightness. The filling compound has a lower adhesion than conventional glazing sealants, so that the glazing beads can be removed more easily during repair work.
- Prevents condensation from incoming warm air and thus protects against moisture in the rebate base, which can lead to damage to the wooden window sash, for example.
- For sealing the sash frame under the glass edge (position 4). Full-surface contact with the insulating glass edge seal in the rebate base must be excluded. An overlap of a maximum of 3 mm is permitted.
- Regarding compatibility with IG edge bonding materials, please refer to our current compatibility list. The current list can be downloaded from our homepage www.otto-chemie.de.
